Costco increases hotdog price before 2027?

Costco is known for selling cheap hot dogs. As of December 2, 2025, the Costco hot dog and 20 oz soda combo is $1.50. This market will resolve to "Yes" if the price of a standard Costco hot dog and 20 oz soda combo before tax exceeds $1.50 in any Costco store in the United States by December 31, 2026, 11:59PM ET. Otherwise this market will resolve to "No". If Costco announces they will increase the price, this market will resolve to "Yes" regardless of whether that change is actually implemented. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Costco, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
